Welcome to Kids Academy

Welcome to Kids Academy

At Kids Academy we aim to provide a new standard in early childhood services offering your family warm, nurturing and stimulating environments.  Proud to be offering the best possible early learning curriculum, our learning environments provide the tools each child needs to develop to their maximum potential.  In addition, we focus on the development of secure attachment relationships between staff and children as well as enhancing partnerships with families, and the local community.  Our educators are dedicated to creating best practice learning programs in a nurturing environment which will contribute to strong foundations and positive outcomes for all of our children.

The Kids Academy Group offers collectively Long Day Care and Preschool, Before and After School Care and Vacation Care offering quality child care and preschool education to children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, as well as an exciting, fun-filled Out of School Hours Care program for 5-12 years.  Each centre caters specifically for the needs of the community which it serves.  We are privately owned and operated.

Conveniently located on the Central Coast, Hornsby and the Penrith District in NSW and in the Brisbane CBD in QLD our group currently consists of ten services.  We pride ourselves in the knowledge that we are big enough to know about the current trends and regulatory matters concerning Early Childhood Services, but small enough to care about each individual child, family and staff member across each of our centres.

She (Charli) has absolutely loved her time at Kids Academy and I dear say she will find it tough to leave. She has made a lot of great friends, both children and teachers and will no doubt miss you all very much.

I would also like to thank both yourself and your staff for looking after our little girl like she was one of your own.

Hornsby

I am the parent of a 3 year old child, who commenced at Kids Academy Hornsby in February 2011 in the Kangaroo Room. In late 2010 our child had been diagnosed with an Autistic Spectrum disorder. With hesitation, given the stigma associated with disabled children in some child care centres, I made contact with the Director. I was overwhelmed with the response by the team there who were supportive in every aspect of the enrolment process. They were all obliging with their time and knowledge in offering any assistance to enable my child's easy transition into the centre. Throughout the duration of the year the staff within the Kangaroo room were exceptional in their understanding of my child's needs and supportive of inclusion into the activities with all the children.

Words do not complement enough our sincere gratitude in the response by all the staff at Kids Academy Hornsby. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Centre to other parents of any child.

While I'm writing this email I would also like to take the time to say how impressed we are with Kids Academy Regentville. Denzel obviously loves attending and is thriving under the guidance of his teachers. We find all staff members to be extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone for all you do for Denzel.

Dear Jessica and Yellow room staff,

I believe KASH has really promoted environmental awareness, respect and responsibility through the activities our child, Miranda has been involved in recently.

Firstly, the "worm juice" Miranda brought home was much appreciated by our garden, and a wonderful idea. Miranda now enjoys watering all the edible herbs we grow and she even chose her own watering can to do so. She is learning how not to waste water from the kitchen and feed it to the garden. (She doesn't actually like the taste of many of the herbs, but that's another story!)

Secondly, Miranda somehow became aware of the rubbish and recycling bins. No doubt this is thanks to the way educators at the centre encourage the children to throw away scraps etc. appropriately after meals. Now, if Miranda has paper rubbish, I say "recycle" and she knows it goes in the bin on the left, and later into the one with the yellow lid. Miranda's grandmother, "Rosie" has a very large vegetable garden and avocado, citrus and mango trees. Miranda loves eating food that has been freshly picked from Rosie's garden. Her favourite is Rosie's broccoli (or "Rosie bocky" as she calls it!) In fact, now we just have to put the word "Rosie's" in front of any vegetable and Miranda thinks it is home grown and eats it!

I would like to say that we greatly appreciate the environment-focussed values that are being promoted in aspects of our child's education at KASH. It is an area that is of ever increasing significance in our daily lives and our future outlook.

I would like to take this opportunity to say big Thank you to you, Christie, Lela and other familiar faces. You have been doing great job running a truly quality centre. We've been coming here since 2009. I feel sad to leave KASH.

Thank you for all the support and understanding.

I would really like to give a big thank you to Ellia and Megan in yellow room for their patience and care of Jeffrey. Although it has just been two days, I can feel that they are really caring and I really appreciate their help for looking after Jeffrey today when he was very unsettled and they have tried their best to comfort him. And they even discussed on ways and ideas on helping Jeffrey for the transition.

I am confident that Jeffrey will be in good care! Thanks once again to all of you.

On a personal note, I would like to thank you both wholeheartedly for your amazing support over the past 3 years.  The team at KASH are an amazing group of educators and carers, and we are grateful that both our daughters have had the opportunity to be apart of the KASH family.

While the move to Perth is exciting for our family, I will indeed miss the comfort of knowing that Martinique and Sarah are in the KASH team care each week. Thank you again.

Basically we think your staff are all fantastic – we have been very happy with the care and education given to Ethan and Lach this year – they love going to daycare (and hence our request for a third day per week next year).

We would like to say again though that we think all of your staff are great and we sincerely appreciate their care for the boys

Just wanted to sincerely thank you and your amazing, fabulous, wonderful and beautiful staff for such an amazing graduation night. It far exceeded any expectations we had, and was a perfect way to end the whales wonderful journey. Then, to come home and put on the personalised graduation cd that was in Logan's goodie bag, and see his whole journey as he grew at kids academy from a little baby pipi into the big boy he is today, my goodness, Mat and I were both completely blown away! Thankyou all so much again!

I look forward to watching my next two grow with the Kids Academy family.

I am writing in regards to my daughter Lily who will be finishing her year in the Whales room this Friday and will not be returning as she will be going to school in 2013. I would like to thank you and all your staff at Kids Academy Warnervale for making Lily’s years there easy, enjoyable and most of all providing her with the education she needs to start big school next year. Thank you all very much. You will be missed until my younger son starts his journey with you all at a later stage.

Lee and Tony

We will miss you guys! I must say it has been a wonderful journey to have Tyler grow and develop with such a beautiful and dedicated team of carers. To think he was only five months old when he started there and now he is off to school - time flies! I know that he has become a wonderful boy because of the care he has had with you all and that is something we really appreciate. We'll take with us some very fond memories of his time at Kids Academy, shame I'm not younger and could have had another one in there!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Jenny, Sarah, your staff and yourself for all the support with Zara starting at Kids Academy January, 2012. I cannot express how happy we are to have Zara in such a delightful preschool. From the first phone call, the first visit to the centre to answering every question we have your staff have been amazing.

I was a little bit nervous wondering how Zara would react moving from Family Day Care to Preschool. I didn't need to worry at all; she has such a lovely bond with Jenny and Sarah. She comes home from Preschool signing different songs, every day we pick her up she is so happy and you can see she has been having such a lovely day.Your centre came on a recommendation from 3 other parents from my Mothers Group. I can highly recommend your centre to anyone considering sending their child to Preschool or Daycare.

Once again thanks for all your support. We look forward to many happy years to come with you and your team.

THE BEST CENTRE ON THE COAST BY FAR!!!
As a Child Care Worker for many years before having my own Children I found it very hard to find a centre for my child. I knew what a centre should be like, I knew what to expect and unfortunately most Centres did not meet expectations. Kids Academy Woongarrah is the ultimate child care centre, I know my child is cared for in the best environment with the best child care staff on the coast. Thank you Kids Academy for making it so smooth and for making a Mum feel better about leaving her child.
